While he spends much of his time in the engine room ensuring we sail smoothly through Komodo’s waters, he is the quiet force that keeps us moving. Even if you don’t see him on deck as often, he is a truly essential part of our crew.

Want a cold drink? A fresh towel? Or maybe just a snack after a long dive? Andre is usually two steps ahead of you – always with the biggest smile on deck. He’s been a vital part of the Wunderpus family since his internship in 2023, and we honestly can’t imagine the boat without his energy!

Meet Dedi, the latest addition to our divemaster team. 🤿 Some of you might have met him serving meals too – like many on our team, Dedi is versatile and can take on many different roles on our boats.

🚤 Meet Andry 🚤
He joined Wunderpus seven years ago as a Sous-Chef. Later, he switched to working as a Roomboy – and for the past three years he’s been driving our speedboat. A man of many talents! Maybe we’ll see him filling tanks or guiding divers next?🤔

Hi everyone, we’re back with updates from September 2025.

Suns still shining, dragons are fighting, waters still blue, Wunderpus and Mimic are still running full steam ahead, all the standard in Komodo.

Upcoming in October, Manta Season and dragon mating season 🥳. We hope to see you in Komodo where we can add the dozens of Mantas in our Manta sites onto our list and maybe mating Komodo Dragons. See you soon 👋
