If you’ve dived with us chances are that you’ve met our eco champion and operations manager Sofia 💪🏽
She’s been involved in many marine conservation projects over the years and has recently been working very hard to launch an exciting new project and needs some support as it takes off!
In the beautiful coastal area of Golomori, Indonesia, a group of dedicated individuals is working tirelessly to protect the marine environment and empower local communities. This region, rich in biodiversity and natural beauty, faces increasing threats from tourism and development. The team, known as Konservasi Tacik Indonesia, is committed to fostering sustainable practices and preserving the marine ecosystems that are vital to the livelihoods of the local people.
Their approach is holistic, focusing on community empowerment through education, eco-tourism, and conservation efforts. They aim to involve everyone, especially women and youth, in creating lasting change. The project also includes real conservation work, such as coral reef monitoring and habitat restoration. However, they are just starting and need financial support to get off the ground. Even a small contribution can make a significant difference in their first year.
If you can, please consider donating to help protect this incredible part of the world. Your support will help ensure that the sea remains a source of life and prosperity for generations to come. Thank you for considering this opportunity to make a positive impact.
