HAPPY EARTH DAY!!!!
We’ve been incredibly quiet. Like many of you, we have been faced with times that have fundamentally challenged society and the way it functions.
The impact of this has been huge, hitting industries and countries like a wildfire and incapacitating entire societies in its wake.
But, there is always hope.
Society has had a moment to pause during this moment, during that time nature has hopefully had a chance to breathe and replenish - something that we can hope leads to a positive change.
Secondly, this entire process has allowed many of us to reflect on the society that we deemed as stable and its relationship with the planet - it has become abundantly clear that the norm is no longer relevant and we have a prime opportunity to embrace lifestyles that fundamentally bring sustainability and stability as a core component.
As a diving community, we have a clear objective which is of the highest priority which is to get out there and support the dive shops, liveaboards and wider communities with trips as soon as is possible. Many of these operations support wide communities within the area and guests are so critical to keep these businesses going.
Times may seem dark but together we will get through this and hopefully our planet and our fundamental relationship will too.
