During an emergency at sea, our vessel experienced a temporary mechanical issue while moving currents began to push the boat toward a large coral garden. To prevent a more serious incident and protect both the reef and everyone on board, our experienced captain made a quick decision to drop anchor to stop the drift. Unfortunately, this action caused some damage to coral on the outer edge of the area.
The incident deeply affected our entire team. As divers and ocean lovers, seeing any harm to the reef — even in an emergency — was heartbreaking. We take full responsibility and have worked closely with the proper authorities to document and review the situation with full transparency.
But beyond that, it became a defining moment for us — a reminder that leadership means not just responding to challenges, but transforming them into progress.
That’s why we are proud to announce our new initiative:
Dive to Revive – Turning Passion Into Preservation.
Through this program, 5% of all net proceeds from our dive bookings will go directly toward coral restoration efforts, and we are actively forming partnerships with recognized restoration and marine conservation organizations to ensure our contributions create measurable, long-term impact.
What began as an emergency has now evolved into a movement — one rooted in accountability, love for the ocean, and a promise to give back more than we take.
