There is no better place to celebrate a 60th birthday than underwater! On May 3rd, we welcomed Jean-François and Monique to Purple Dive for a landmark celebration. We loved surprising Jean-François with a little birthday treat on the boat between dives. 🎁🫧⁠

The highlight? The incredible marine life! Jean-François took some breathtaking photos of the famous Nusa Penida Manta Rays and playful Dolphins during his trip. 📸💙⁠

Huge thanks to the legends at Terra Segara for inviting us to participate in their latest restoration event.

Restoring our reefs takes precision, patience, and a whole lot of love for the ocean. We sent one of our DMs to help out and use their expertise to ensure the next generation of coral has a fighting chance.

Community-led conservation is the future of Nusa Penida. We’re stoked to be a part of it! 💜✨

Yesterday, we left only bubbles behind. 🌊🧤

A massive thank you to everyone who joined our beach clean-up yesterday! From our hardworking IDC candidates to our incredible volunteering guests, the energy was unmatched.

Together, we managed to clear a significant amount of debris from the shoreline here in Nusa Penida. Seeing the community come together—divers and non-divers alike—is exactly why we do what we do. Our mission is to protect the blue, and yesterday was a huge win for the ocean! 🌍💜

Huge shoutout to the May IDC batch for leading the charge. You guys are already proving to be true Ocean Guardians! 🔱✨

Meet the faces of the May 2026 IDC! 🎓🌊

The books are open, the coffee is flowing, and the journey to becoming a PADI Instructor has officially begun. Last week, this crew took their first steps into the world of professional diving here in Nusa Penida.

Over the next two weeks, they’ll be trading "fun dives" for physics, physiology, and perfecting their skills in the water. We are so stoked to have this much passion and energy in the shop!
