Ever put your face in a bucket of water?

This may look strange, but during the STATIC course you'll discover some fascinating abilities of your body.

When our airways are immersed in water our 'diving reflex' kicks in and our heart rate slows, known as bradycardia. This conserves oxygen and allows us to hold our breath longer!
