Devant le Bali Fab Dive Center, la communauté de Kintamani s'est rassemblée pour une cérémonie extraordinaire et profondément significative : les derniers rites de crémation pour ceux qui sont décédés ces dernières années. Cet événement immense marque l'aboutissement de la tradition balinaise d'honorer les morts, où les esprits des défunts sont enfin libérés vers l'au-delà.

La cérémonie commence par la crémation, un rituel sacré qui symbolise la purification de l'âme. Après que les flammes ont consumé les corps, les cendres sont soigneusement collectées et apportées à la plage. Là, une autre cérémonie importante se déroule : les cendres sont dispersées dans la mer, retournant ainsi les éléments à la nature. Cet acte est censé aider les âmes à trouver la paix et à atteindre le monde spirituel, complétant ainsi leur voyage.

Ces cérémonies ne sont pas seulement un moment d'adieu, mais aussi un puissant rappel de la croyance balinaise dans le cycle de la vie, de la mort et de la renaissance. Alors que les vagues emportent les cendres, la communauté se rassemble dans l'unité, célébrant la vie et honorant ceux qui sont partis.

In front of Bali Fab Dive Center, the Kintamani community gathered for an extraordinary and deeply meaningful ceremony—the final cremation rites for those who have passed away in recent years. This immense event marks the culmination of the Balinese tradition of honoring the dead, where the spirits of the deceased are finally released to the afterlife.

The ceremony begins with the cremation, a sacred ritual that symbolizes the purification of the soul. After the flames have consumed the bodies, the ashes are carefully collected and brought to the beach. Here, another important ceremony takes place: the ashes are scattered into the sea, returning the elements to nature. This act is believed to help the souls find peace and reach the spiritual world, completing their journey.

These ceremonies are not only a moment of farewell but also a powerful reminder of the Balinese belief in the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. As the waves carry the ashes away, the community comes together in unity, celebrating life and honoring those who have passed.

🌊🐠 Dive into the depths of Bali's most famous dive site with our expert instructor, Leo! Today, he gave us the dive briefing for the Liberty wreck and we couldn't be more excited to explore this incredible site.

The Liberty wreck is special for many reasons. Firstly, it's a World War II shipwreck that was torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942. Secondly, it's been submerged for over 75 years, creating a unique underwater ecosystem that's home to an incredible array of marine life. From colorful corals to schools of fish, there's so much to see and discover.

Leo's extensive knowledge and passion for diving truly brought the Liberty wreck to life during the briefing. We're so grateful to have such a skilled and enthusiastic instructor leading our dive today. Can't wait to see what we discover on this unforgettable adventure! 🤿🌴
