Discussions and preparations for establishing the academy have been ongoing for 5 years. The initial idea for establishing the DFA was based on Founder’s interest in establishing a football academy, especially at the grassroots level. We aim to fulfil the expectations of all of the children whatever these may be. They could range from a basic recreational level through to playing at School / Unive
rsity level and on to becoming a professional player. The DFA does not work alone to realize all its aims; it has the full support of the British School Jakarta as a facility provider to run the programs that have been designed for the football training. The academy offers weekly coaching sessions to boys and girls aged between 4 and 18, run by experienced, highly qualified football association coaches. The training program is a professional youth program that is based in Indonesia. The goal of DFA is to produce excellent technical and innovative players with exceptional decision making skills. The players will have the opportunity to play for representative teams at tournaments, against professional elite teams and development centres. Scouts will be assessing all players and selecting those who are thought to be suitable for trials. The training program is intense, with a minimum of 2 training sessions per week. Our players must be dedicated and disciplined and in turn will receive the very best training possible. The goal is to prepare players to the highest standard of youth football so that at sometimes in the future they would have the skills to pursue a professional football career should they so choose. Dreams Football Academy provides an energetic and enjoyable football activity for all children. From improvements in agility, balance and coordination to effective communication, team work, tactics and strategies, as well as ball manipulation and technique development.
