Most people see the race photos, the finish line, the highlights.

But not always the behind-the-scenes:
the nerves before the start,
the “why did I sign up for this AGAIN!?” thoughts,
the tiny spirals,
and the moments where you’re just trying to act normal while internally freaking out.

So here are a few of mine!
No trending audio, just the real stuff.

Because this is part of it too.
And sometimes being an athlete is not about feeling fearless.

Sometimes it’s just about showing up scared and still giving it your all. 🫶🏼

I think a lot of us are already motivated.

We already want more for themselves.
We already know we’re capable of more.

What we’re missing isn’t ambition.

I almost didn’t race today.

I told myself it was the rain.
But really… it was fear.

Fear of not performing well.
Fear of seeing where I really am.

A few messages from a friend pushed me out the door.

And I’m so glad they did.

6km. 4:35 average pace.

Not perfect…
But it’s proof that the biggest obstacle is usually the story we tell ourselves before we even start.

& it was a good reminder that courage is just starting while you’re still unsure…
