Bali Handara Golf hole 11 par 3 info

Your tee shot will pass through the gateway of Flame of the Forest trees to reach the deep green which is fairly narrow at the front and widens to the back. There is O.B. on the left. The green is well guarded by a deep bunker front left and a bunker front right. The green slopes moderately from right to left and slightly from back to front.

Pro’s Tip – you will need an accurate tee shot and deft putting to secure your par here. Being short is better than being long.

A dog leg par 5 awaits with a large pond and waste bunker to be cleared from the back tee,a 240 yard +/- carry and the second shot must not be right,as a lake awaits down the right side of the fairway to the green, perched on the lake edge.

An excellent par 4 featuring a left to right dogleg and then down a shallow valley to a saucer shaped green .Big hitter may choose to hit a fade over the bunkers in the middle of the fairway to give a much shorter approach.The green slopes from front to back and insdefended by a bunker front left and banking on the right
Pro’s tip-The downhill pitch of this green result in many balls rolling on through to the back.It is best to land your approach shot just short of or at the very front of the green and the slope carry it on

Bali Handara Golf hole 10 par 4

A difficult tee shot should get your attention on this downhill Par 4. You need to be accurate and stay left of center to avoid being blocked by the large Fir tree (Cemara Geseng) on the right hand side of the fairway – which is 110 yards from the green. The green is oblong shaped, deeper than it is wide and is guarded by bunkers on the left and right. This green is of the rare “Crown” type with a slight ridge running roughly through the middle of it. The rear section falls slightly to the back left whereas the front section falls to the front right.

Pro’s Tip – go long and straight towards the green to give yourself a clear line of approach to the green – get past that Fir tree or it will almost certainly get in your way.

The safe drive is to the center of the fairway but will leave you with an approach shot to a small target green over a deep green side bunker.The “tiger”line is to carry the right side waste bunker off the tee,which will place one’s ball closer to the best angle for the approach shot to the green

If you are fortunate to be near this hole early in the morning or late in the afternoon, you will surely be delighted by the vivid colours of the sky being reflected in the still water of the lake.
An appealing hole all laid out in front of you to start the back 9.Pick your line across the lake the bravest and longest hitter will aim just to the right of the green.Think positive thoughts and don’t let your mind wander to the water.This green has the most back to front slope on it than any other on the course and is guarded by two bunkers on the left and another on the right.
Pro’s Tip-Landing your approach shot below the hole is crucial here so as to avoid a very challenging downhill putt

This right to left dogleg Par 5 takes you back up the hill to the Clubhouse. There is not much to be gained by trying to hit a draw off the tee – better to simply play straight towards the fairway bunkers on the right hand side which are about 250 yards from the green. Your second shot should favour the right hand side so as to stay clear of the fairway bunker on the left which is 80 yards from the green. The green sits diagonally to you and slopes quite severely from back to front. It is defended by penal bunkers both front left and on the right.

Pro’s Tip – play this as a true 3 shotter to avoid the dangers and to get your approach shot as close to the pin as possible – this is not an easy green to putt on

The beautiful front nine finishing hole dictates an accurate highly pitched shot to ensure a safe landing on the green which is far wider than it is deep.Club selection is critical as being either being short or long can be “wet”!!There is a generous landing area just left of the green but watch out for the green side bunker

Named after the colourfful Kamboja trees(Frangipani in English)which are both abundant in and synonymous with Bali.The blossom are very fragrant and popularly and for hair decorations.The Balinese call it jepun and many fine examples can be found growing around the green and the clubhouse.
The shortest par 5 on the course which feature a left to right slanting fairway and a deep,well-guarded green.The elegant clubhouse provides an attractive backdrop
Pro’s Tip-A good birdie or even eagle chance.Your tee shot should favour the left side of the fairway as on landing your ball will roll in toward the middle
