Tawaran Pekerjaan: Kapten Speed Boat - Blue Planet Dive Resort, Bira, Sulawesi Selatan

Tanggung Jawab:
Menjamin keamanan penyelam dengan membawa mereka ke berbagai lokasi penyelaman di sekitar Bira (Liukang, Kambing, Panrang Luhu).
Selalu mengutamakan keselamatan tamu, kru, dan peralatan.
Bertanggung jawab penuh atas kapal dan mesin, termasuk:
Memarkir kapal dengan aman setiap malam, termasuk memeriksa kapal pada malam hari dan memindahkan kapal jika terjadi cuaca buruk.
Pemeriksaan kapal dan mesin secara rutin.
Pemeliharaan dasar dalam operasional Resort (setelah pelatihan).
Membantu pekerjaan lain di Dive Resort selama low season (misalnya; konstruksi, pengecatan, dan pembersihan).
Jam kerja yang fleksibel mengikuti pasang surut air laut, dengan jam kerja umum dari pukul 08.00 WITA hingga 17.00 WITA.

Kualifikasi:
Mempunyai pengalaman sebagai Kapten Speed Boat dan mengenali tentang perairan setempat lebih diutamakan.
Bisa bahasa Inggris dasar lebih bagus.
Berkepribadian jujur dan santun.
Etos kerja yang kuat dan berkomitmen dalam mengutamakan keselamatan.

Benefit:
Gaji awal (IDR 2.500.000 - 3.000.000 per bulan).

🌊 Marumasa Beach Cleanup: A Huge Success! 🌿

On Friday, we came together to make a difference—and what a difference we made! 💪✨

With the incredible collaboration between , and we removed 277kg of rubbish on Marumasa Beach and gave our beloved coastline a fresh start. 🗑🌴

It was more than just a cleanup—it was a reminder of what we can achieve when we unite for a common goal: protecting our oceans and preserving nature for generations to come. 🌏💙

It was great to see so many people getting involved, getting their hands dirty, and sharing their passion for our planet. Those efforts inspire change far beyond this one event.

Let’s keep the momentum going! Whether it’s saying no to single-use plastics, organizing your own cleanup, or simply spreading awareness, every action counts. 🌱

Coral Restoration Dive with 🐠🌊

Diving deep at Blue Planet House Reef to support our coral restoration efforts! 🌿 The floating rope method is perfect for this project. We spent the dive cleaning ropes and coral nubbins from algae, then attaching the nubbins to the newly established metal structures. Such a rewarding experience to help rejuvenate our marine ecosystems! 🌏💙

Appreciation post for just a few of the wild underwater creatures found here in Sulawesi that don’t get as much attention as our sharks, rays, and turtles…

A moment for some the land animals of southern Sulawesi and frequent visitors of Blue Planet Dive Resort 😅

1. Moor macaque (watch your bananas!)
2. Sulawesi dwarf cuscus (don’t get too close to this feisty mama!)
3. Collared kingfisher (frequent guest on our beach at sunrise and sunset)
4. Pacific reef heron (Look for these at low tide)
5. Baby Sulawesi dwarf cuscus (hidden well by it’s mama)

Dive into the enchanting world of frogfishes! 🐸🌊 These masters of disguise are the chameleons of the sea, blending seamlessly into their surroundings. From vibrant colors to intricate textures, each frogfish is a living work of art. We can clearly see the lure on this one, that is being used to attrack other fishes. 🤿✨
