BWRAF… or something else? 👀
You know the 5-point buddy check before every dive. But let’s be real everyone has their own version of that acronym. Some are funny. Some are weird. Some actually help you remember.

Here’s the breakdown if you need a refresher:

B – Buoyancy control device: test inflation and deflation
W – Weights: check where and how to release
R – Releases: are straps snug and secure?
A – Air: breathe from both regs and check your gauge
F – Fins face mask final check: do a last look over and agree on the dive plan

Buddy checks are non-negotiable. Whether you’re new or have 500 dives, this keeps you safe.
