Ordinary or extraordinary? You decide.

The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is simple: extraordinary people will get things done even when they don’t feel like it, because they’re fully committed to their goals.

A lot of the time this will come down to passion. When you pursue a goal you’re passionate about, you’ll naturally be more motivated to achieve it. Likewise, if you don’t find the process enjoyable, then you may want to re-evaluate where you’re investing your time and effort.

Excuses don’t get you to your goals, so leave them the f**k at home 👊🏼🔥

One of the hardest parts about growing into a better person is thinking about how many people from your past only know that past version of yourself.

There are so many people from my teenage days that follow me who only know the unhealed, self-conscious person that I was. It took me a long time to realize that those people never actually knew me and never will. Nor does it even matter. Especially considering that every persons perspective of you is shaped by their perception of themselves.

The version of you that exists inside the minds of others has everything to do with them and absolutely nothing to do with you.

Some snaps from my little solo trip to the mountains a few weeks ago! Served with a side of classic Chelsea PEPTALK:
Learn to appreciate YOU time.
Learn to enjoy being ALONE.
Take yourself on SOLO dates.
Because the person who you spend the most time with throughout your whole life….is YOU.
So learn to LOVE yourself, before anyone else
Learn to appreciate the silences.
Learn to be disconnected from your phone and not rely on the approval of others
Spend your alone time really thinking about what truly makes you happy in life.
Want to try a new Café? See that new movie? A holiday? GO! And don’t wait for others….Because you could be waiting forever. Start putting YOU first. Stop waiting for others and spend this time getting to know YOURSELF!

Same same but different 🙄🤣

I read this quote today that serves as a bit of a reminder “Today is the only day worth living for because NOTHING is guaranteed”.

NEVER stop trying until you find your thing. Whatever it may be. Keep trying. Keep practising. Keep failing. Keep making mistakes. Keep showing up. Make sure you spend your time doing things that you LOVE. Change your mindset from “I don’t have time” to “it’s not a priority” and see how that feels. Because investing in yourself and in doing things that you love, will never ever have negative implications. It will never be a waste of time. Invest in YOU. Failing is OKAY. You simply have to ask more questions, maybe even fall down again but you GET THE F**K BACK UP. Successful people did not fail, they simply fell down 10 times and got up 11.

Today I chat about 👉🏼 DISCIPLINE vs MOTIVATION 👈🏼

Motivation is not always there and even when it is, it doesn’t last forever. Which is why it’s very unrealistic to rely purely on motivation to reach our goals!

DISCIPLINE on the other hand, is doing what NEEDS to be done. Period. Discipline is putting your gym clothes on, getting in your car, driving to the gym and walking in. Discipline is doing your cardio even when you’d rather go straight home after your workout. Discipline is prepping your meals ahead of time. It’s setting yourself up for success when you know you’ll be eating out later on. It’s seeing the bigger picture long-term and sticking to your OWN word when the motivation is lacking.

Discipline means training yourself to behave and work in a controlled and regular way, building new healthy habits that benefit you daily. Discipline overrides motivation, always

Let’s talk FOOD GUILT! Something I have struggled with (and still do!) alongside soo many people! My old mindset was to feel guilty for indulging in life’s simple pleasures like eating some junk food, drinking alcohol, missing a gym sesh or skipping cardio. BUT you have got to snap out of that toxic way of thinking. Life is about BALANCE. It’s about having consistency over TIME. It’s about having those fun moments with your friends, enjoying those occasional social events and being PRESENT with your loved ones.

Now, that doesn’t mean go and blow out on an “indulgent” meal every single day guys 😂 of course there is still a limit! But if you’re putting in the hard work during your training, eating within your daily calories (most of the time), being CONSISTENT and sticking to the 5:2 rule then don’t get so caught up in the guilt! Go and ENJOY eating and drinking all these delicious foods that you wouldn’t otherwise get to enjoy in your regular week. Choose to be grateful for creating these memories with your nearest and dearest.

Life is far too short to worry about a couple of “cheat meals” here and there and a few too many bevvies on the odd occasion! Indulge in those moments and LIVE YOUR FKN LIFE. You absolutely do not need to constantly be in a calorie deficit and eating “clean” to be happy. You are worth more than a number on a scale or a clothing size. Happy Tuesday lovers. Look after your self-talk and self-love this year! 💛 and Enjoy these snaps of some incredible food I have been eating guilt-free lately 😮‍💨
