Last month of July, WSD has conducted 113 PADI dive courses excluding DSD! We are on our way to becoming the Dive Center N1 in Amed Tulamben area for very simple reasons:
- Max ratio of 3 students per Instructor to guaranty safety. Most dive centers in Amed Tulamben have a ratio of 4:1, some even 6:1!
- Flexible schedule for dive courses to make sure that all students have ample time to learn without rush: perfect mastery of all skills guaranty!
- Full choice of dive sites for fundives, just talk to your dive guide: reef, macro/muck, wall, drift, wreck, cavern or even guided Tec dives OC or CCR!
- Easy booking of dive courses, fundives & snorkeling on WA without deposit. Save time!
- No fee cancelation policy for both courses & fundives: you just pay for what you did. Save money!
- All our dive guides & instructors have been carefully selected : experienced, patient and speaking a fluent english. Our management team regularly evaluates their motivations and skills, just like in any DIR (Doing It Right) dive center. This is the key for quality!
- 2 In-house Aqualung certified technicians for a proper maintenance of all dive gear

At WSD, we can teach you the PADI ADVANCED SNORKELER course to improve your propulsion (both flutter & frog kicks) and breathing technics (to avoid C02 retention in the "dead space").
You will also learn how to use an SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) for safety reasons. But not only!
Other snorkeling skills:
-proper weighting (floating at eye level while holding breath with snkl in mouth, in vertical position)
-duck dive and equalization technics
-snkl clearing
-1 up/1down buddy system
-underwater swim 15m (snorkel out of the mouth)
-Life vest or BCD oral inflation
-emergency weight drop
-proper ascent with right hand up for protection

Price: 1.200.000 Rp (+ 1.000.000 for certification)

With Amed White Sand Divers, FUNDIVERS REALLY CHOOSE THEIR DIVE SITES in Amed & Tulamben. Having the full choice of your dive site is rare and it is our priority because we want our fundivers to have an unforgettable diving adventure. We are a family-run dive center in Amed Tulamben and we only dive in small groups of usually 2/maximum 3 divers of the same level for 1 dive guide. What matters to us is Quality & Safety : After a check dive, you just need to talk to your dive guide to select what YOU want to dive next : reef, macro/muck, wreck, drift, wall, cavern or guided Tec dives …

Dive with us and save money and time!
No deposit is needed for booking Dive courses nor fundives/snorkeling!
For fundives, certified divers just need to contact us the day before by 6:30pm (WA prefered) ; In high season better book 3/4 days in advance. After the first morning dive, if you need to stop for any reason, we won’t charge you the second dive! You simply pay your fundives at the end of your stay, with a discount if you did more than 6 or if you stay in 1 of our 8 VIP Hotels.
For dive courses, you will receive a link to watch the training videos before arrival. You won’t be charged anything even in case of late cancellation. If you need to stop the course, you only pay for what you did and can resume your training later on with us, without any penalty or we can also arrange a referral form valid in any Padi Dive center in the world.

BOAT FISHING TRIP (local Jukung boat) : you Keep the fish that you catch or we can grill them for you, free of charge in 1 of the seaside restaurants of our PADI 5-star resort!

We believe that snorkellers are as important as scuba divers ! Sasa, our boss is in charge of the snorkelling trips and can offer all types of variations to suit the snorkellers plans and levels : Go snorkelling with us at Lipah and meet turtles and baby sharks !

With our sister company SNORKELING TRIP SASA, there are 3 main options for snorkeling :

1/ Snorkelling on the same 2 sites as our scubadivers : 300 000. Snorkelling gear, transport & snack included. Guide: +300 000

2/ Snorkelling trip on a local Jukung boat with guide (2 snorkelling sites): 1 or 2 persons 1 150 000, 3p: 1 400 000, 4p: 2 300 000,

3/ Sunset tour : pick up at 4pm at your hotel to jump on a local Jukung boat for 2 snorkelling sites with guide. You will also enjoy the sunset from the boat. 1 or 2 persons: 1 150 000, 3p: 1 400 000, 4p: 2 300 000.

Snorkeling Trip Sasa can teach you the PADI course Advanced snorkeler to improve your propulsion and breathing technics and learn how to use an SMB (Surface Marker Buoy) for more safety.

-Batu Niti with its dog tooth tunas,
-Pura Gerombong with its Giant Trevallies & decorated cavern,

"My partner and I had a fabulous experience at Amed White Sand Divers, and we would recommend them to anyone who's considering getting a PADI certification in Indonesia or happens to be traveling through amed. Whether you're looking for a course or just wanting to do a couple of fun dives, there's plenty to see underwater in amed, and White Sand Divers are the friendliest, most understanding instructors you could ask for.

Personally, I arrived with a couple of health issues that I was dealing with, and I had to postpone my certification course more than once. White Sand Divers was extremely understanding during this period and even drove me to the nearest medical clinic to be seen by a doctor. I left with not one but two certifications and could not be more happy with my experience.

Shout out to the entire White Sand Divers team for running such a professional operation. I will book with these guys the next time I come through amed. What a beautiful stay."
