We represent the majority of the buhurt fighters in the New York area including NYC, Westchester County, Long Island, and North Jersey.

On February 21st, we held our second exhibition at Bohemian Beer Hall. It was the largest turnout we have ever had for an exhibition in both the number of fighters and audience attending. We look forward to running more of these on a regular basis at this great venue!

For Carolina Carnage 2026 NYC Armored Combat fielded 3 teams:

The Plague Rats- Men's 5v5 Tier 2
The Sentinels- Men's 5v5 Tier 3
The Rat Queens- Women's (Open) 5v5 and Women's 12v12

We congratulate all of our fighters competing across all categories, including the massive 30v30 melee for a weekend hard-fought and another Carnage completed.

Last armor practice of 2025! (12/20/25)

We are grateful for the progress we've seen for our club in the last year. We constructed a full tournament list at our training location and established our own competitive women's team. It is our hope that this year will hold more growth and opportunities for us. Wishing the best for the entire armored combat community in 2026!

New York fighters at Tournament of the Castle (11/15/25) ⚔️🛡

Congratulations to the Sentinels on a tournament well-fought. And congratulations to Sophia Rigg and Lukiana of the Rat Queens who fought on the Matagots and won Gold in the Women's Open 5v5
Category.

Back in October, at Blood and Suds 3 NYC Armored Combat's new women's team, the Rat Queens fielded for the first time. They had a truly remarkable debut performance, winning gold in the Women's Open 5v5 category.

The Rat Queens were led by Sophia Rigg who was appointed captain shortly after competing on Team USA and being knighted at Buhurt International's World Championship in Visegrád, Hungary.

We are incredibly proud to be fielding a competitive women's team under NYC Armored Combat's banner, providing a home for femme fighters in the NYC area as well as others across the US buhurt community looking for a team to fight with.

The Rat Queens will field again at Carolina Carnage this upcoming February of 2026.

Back in September, the NYC Armored Combat Team hosted its first chapter match at our new tournament list in Cedar Grove, NJ. We were joined by the Company of the Pale Horse a formidable team made up of fighters across the country. It was a good day of fighting and an enriching experience for both teams. We aim to host more scrimmages like this in the coming months, so keep an eye out for it.

New York Fighters at Rookie Rumble 9 (8/30/25)

Congratulations to all of our rookies who competed at this year's Rookie Rumble. All demonstrated prowess on the field, and each achieved accomplishments of their own.

For Gabe Orellana, this was his final Rookie Rumble, marking his graduation from "rookie" to a more experienced fighter.

In the "Warlord Tournament," Adam Milspaw and Lewis Khai fought their way to the finals as competing captains, each leading a formidable team in a 15v15 melee. In the end, Lewis took the victory after a tough battle, making him the first-ever NYC Armored Comat fighter to win the Warlord Tournament at Rookie Rumble! 👑⚔️

Thank you The Knights Hall for hosting another great tournament and connecting a new generation of armored combatants year after year.
We are proud of all our rookie fighters and look forward to where their journey in armored combat takes them next.

Back in August, five NYC Armored Combat fighters attended IMCF World Championship 2025 in Conroe, Texas. Together, they represented 6 different countries, including the US, across multiple categories, and each brought home medals.
