🇬🇧 A tough weekend in Veszprém.
The Hungarian Middle Distance and Relay Championships have come to an end — and it was a weekend that many competitors will surely remember.
The Middle Distance Championships offered extremely demanding terrain, physically and technically challenging courses, and a mapping approach that was unusual for the Hungarian field. The winning times eventually turned out to be significantly longer than planned, but the competitors showed great determination and fought their way through the courses.
On the following day, the Relay Championships took place on somewhat easier terrain — but with temperatures close to 30°C, it was anything but an easy race. This time, the teams had to battle not only each other, but also the heat.
Thank you to all competitors for the fair racing, the determination and the great atmosphere. We wish everyone a good recovery after the weekend!

🇭🇺 Kemény hétvége volt Veszprémben.
Lezajlott a Középtávú és Váltó Országos Bajnokság, amely sok szempontból emlékezetes marad a mezőny számára.
A középtávú OB-n extrém nehéz terep, fizikailag és technikailag is komoly kihívást jelentő pályák, valamint a hazai versenyzők számára szokatlan térképhelyesbítési szemlélet várta az indulókat. A győztes idők végül jóval meghaladták az előzetesen tervezetteket, de a mezőny becsülettel végigküzdötte a pályákat.
Másnap a váltóbajnokságon valamivel könnyebb terep következett, de a közel 30 fokos hőség gondoskodott róla, hogy ez a nap se legyen sétagalopp. A csapatoknak ezúttal nemcsak egymással, hanem a meleggel is meg kellett küzdeniük.
Köszönjük mindenkinek a sportszerű versenyzést, a kitartást és a jó hangulatot. Jó pihenést kívánunk a hétvége után!
