Rendezői visszatekintés.
Előfordult már, hogy Pünkösd hétfőn is ott voltál Szentendrén? A városnak ilyenkor kicsit olyan hangulata van, mint a nappalinak, ahol már nincs ott a karácsonyfa. Az üres utcákon nem fut senki, nem hallani a safety biker kiáltását “Futóval vagyok, helyet kérek!”, nem szól a taps a célegyenesben, és nem látni mindenfelé a szürke pólós Crew-t. Az emlékek viszont velünk maradnak. Nem felejtjük a boldog arcokat, a célvonal mögötti zokogást, a futókat akiknek a lendület a célkapuig tartott, és ott ájultan rogytak össze. Ahogy nem felejthetjük azt sem, hogy mennyi ember összehangolt közös munkája kellett ehhez az egészhez. Direkt nem azt írtam, hogy ehhez a versenyhez, mert több ez már mint verseny, sokkal inkább egy találkozóhely, egy vizsga, egy közösségi esemény. Válaszd ki, hogy neked melyik, és jövőre találkozzunk újra Szentendrén!

Have you ever been to Szentendre on Whit Monday? At that time, the city has an atmosphere like a living room where the Christmas Tree is no longer there. No one is running on the empty streets, you can’t hear the safety biker’s shout: “I am with a runner, please, take my place!”, there's no applause at the finish line, and you can't see the Crew in grey t-shirts everywhere. But memories stay with us. We won’t forget the happy faces, sobs behind the finish line, the runner’s whose momentum carried all the way to the finish line and then collapsed unconscious. Nor can we forget how many people worked together to make this happen. I didn't specifically say "for this race," because it's more than a race, it's more of a meeting place, an exam, a community event. Choose which one is right for you and see you again in Szentendre next year!
