3rd ICO Foxminton Open Summary🦊

Excellent Slovak players, Vladimir Pjecha and Tamara Lukacova won the open and female trophies at the 3rd ICO Foxminton Open in Budapest last Saturday.

The 3rd edition of ICO Foxminton Open was held in Budapest on 17 September 2022, where 50 players from five countries battled in 11 categories for the 250 ICO ranking points and the precious Foxie-medals.

Tamara Lukacova from Slovakia, the current leader of ICO world ranking in women singles category, beat the talented Croatian Nika Miskulin with an impressive and dominant play in the women’s final.

In the open final the Slovakia vs Croatia battle was repeated, this time between Vladimir Pjecha and Damir Bakovic. The 3-set match was a real thriller, Vladimir making a spectacular comeback in the second set, and dominating the third and final set afterwards.

We would like to congratulate to the winners and medalists, and thank everyone for participating at the 3rd ICO Foxminton Open - our special gratitude goes to Alida and Boris Jerkovic and the Speeder Sombor team for their immense help in organizing this tournament.
Finally please don’t forget, the Foxes will be waiting for you in 2023 as well!🦊

Parkolás / Parking information

Kedves résztvevők!

A szombati Foxminton Openen a parkolás a BVSC Nyílt Nap miatt korlátozott lesz.
Kérünk mindenkit, hogy lehetőség szerint az alábbi, a képen zölddel jelölt parkolási zónákat használja:
1. A csarnok bejárata előtti terület
2. A csarnok déli oldalánál található füves terület
3. A sorompó előtti és mögötti része a macskaköves Tahi utcának
Kérünk benneteket, hogy a sportkomplexum többi részén ne parkoljatok, ahogy azt a mellékelt térképen pirossal is jeleztük - megértéseteket köszönjük és mindenkinek sikeres versenyt kívánunk!

Dear Participants,

We would like to share some important information on parking at the venue of Foxminton Open this Saturday.
Unfortunately there will be another sport event at the BVSC sport complex on the very same day, so we recommend to use the green-highlighted parking areas near the sport hall:
1. In front of the entrance of the sport hall
2. Next to the southern side of the sport hall on the grass
3. Alongside the cobblestone Tahi street, in front and behind the barrier
Please leave all the other parking areas free, as indicated by the red sign on the map attached - thank you and we wish you a great tournament!

Catering: The cafeteria outside the tennis hall is open during the whole tournament.

Remarks
Banana and water will be provided free of charge for the players.

The tournament observes the ICO standards, the tournament mode and all others official requirements for 2022. The organisers and the ICO reserve the right to change these regulations and the play mode, if necessary. With the registration the participants accept the conditions of this announcement. By registration players release personal video- and photo rights to the organizer, contract partners and the main organisation.

Szombaton került megrendezésre a SZITAKÖTŐK GYORSTOLLAS SZAKOSZTÁLY által (a város és a magyar szövetség támogatásával) a VI. Beachminton Halas Thermál Open 500 pontos nemzetközi gyorstollaslabda verseny.
