🎯 HDH–ASEAN TARGET FACE DESIGN COMPETITION 2026 🎨
“Design Our Heritage. Inspire The Champions.”

HDH Archery Malaysia and HDH–ASEAN invite designers, artists, archers, and heritage enthusiasts across ASEAN to create the OFFICIAL TARGET FACE for the HDH–ASEAN Historical Archery Championships 2026.

🏹 WHAT YOU MUST DESIGN
Your target face must:
✅ Be FULLY SYMMETRICAL
✅ Be COMPETITION-READY
✅ Have CLEAR & VISIBLE scoring zones
✅ Follow HDH–IAA scoring rules (10 – 8 – 5 – 0)
✅ Reflect ASEAN historical identity & warrior heritage

🎨 DESIGN INSPIRATION
Your artwork may include:
• Traditional ASEAN motifs & patterns
• Warrior culture & historical symbols
• Folklore & mythology
• Indigenous, maritime, jungle, or tribal heritage

⚠️ IMPORTANT RULES
❌ No modern political symbols
❌ No religious propaganda or offensive imagery
✅ Designs must be respectful, inclusive, and original
✅ Multiple entries allowed
✅ Individual or group participation (max 3 persons)

📏 TARGET FORMAT
• Any target shape is allowed
• Design must fit within the size guideline of 30cm x 30cm up to 100cm x 100cm
• High-resolution JPG/PNG required
• Submission PDF must include concept explanation and scoring breakdown

📆Day 1 – Qualification Round🎖️
Competitors will shoot a total of 30 targets:
> 10 Classic Face Targets🎯
Maximum 30 points per target (golden shoot duble point: 60p)
3 arrows per target
>10 3D Hunter Targets🦌
Maximum 30 points per target
1 + 1 arrows per target
>10 Technical Targets🏰
Maximum 30 points per target
1, 3, or 6 arrows per target

📆Day 2 – Semi-Final Round🥇🥈🥉
Competitors who qualify will advance to the semi-final.
The semi-final consists of 18–24 targets, depending on the number of qualified competitors. Targets are selected from the qualification round. Competitors who reach the required score level in the qualification round will qualify for the semi-final.

📆Day 3 - Final Round🏆
The best 6 competitors from the semi-finals in each category advance to the final
The final consists of 6 targets, selected from the semi-final round
Each target category includes one “golden” target (double distance, double points):
1 Classic Face
1 3D
1 Technical

📣ATTENTION In 2 weeks, on April 30th, the deadline for payment of the entry and entry fee will expire. Don't miss out and enter on time and pay the entry fees correctly.❗️

You can pay the entry fee individually via the entry website, by bank card. If you would like to pay as a group or pay the entry fee by bank transfer (for example, on behalf of an association or federation), please send the names of the competitors to the provided e-mail address ([email protected]), as well as in whose name the entry fee invoice should be issued and where it should be sent.

If you need to make any changes to your entries, please also notify us by e-mail by April 30th.

🛏️Accommodation in Eger, around the castle, is selling out fast, so if you haven't booked your accommodation yet, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible.

🚌🛬For those who need it, we will also send out airport transfer options soon.

In the meantime, we wish you good and successful preparation, and see you at the end of June in Eger, at the Castle of Eger🏰!

Dear Competitors,

In response to your requests, the registration and payment deadline for the European Championship has been extended until April 30. Please make sure to meet this deadline.

The entry fee can be paid individually by credit card through the registration website. If you would like to make a group payment or pay by bank transfer (for example on behalf of a club or federation), please send an email to [email protected] with the names of the competitors, as well as the billing details indicating in whose name the invoice for the entry fee should be issued and where it should be sent.

If any changes need to be made to your registration, please also send them by email no later than April 30.

Accommodation options in Eger, especially around the Castle, are filling up quickly, so those who have not yet booked their accommodation are advised to do so as soon as possible.

For those who need it, information about airport transfer options will also be sent out soon.

Until then, we wish you good luck and successful practice, and we look forward to seeing you at the end of June in Eger, at Eger Castle!

A kéréseknek megfelelően az Európa-bajnokságra a nevezési és befizetési határidőt meghosszabbítottuk április 30-ig. Kérjük, ezt a határidőt tartsátok be!

A nevezési díjat egyénileg a nevezési honlapon keresztül, bankkártyával tudjátok befizetni. Ha csoportosan szeretnétek fizetni vagy utalással rendeznétek a nevezési díjat (például egyesület vagy szövetség nevében), akkor kérjük, a megadott e-mail-címre ([email protected]) küldjétek el a versenyzők neveit, valamint azt is, hogy a nevezési díjról szóló számlát kinek a nevére állítsuk ki, és hová küldjük meg.

Amennyiben a nevezéseteken bármit módosítani kell, azt is e-mailben jelezzétek április 30-ig.

A szálláshelyek Egerben, a vár környékén rohamosan fogynak, ezért aki még nem foglalt szállást, annak javasoljuk, hogy ezt mihamarabb tegye meg.
