🤩 Lang: Loki! 70-szeres magyar válogatott védőt szerződtetett a DVSC
A DVSC 2,5 évre szerződtette a 70-szeres magyar válogatott, ma 32 éves Lang Ádámot. A remek pályafutást befutó, magyar, román és ciprusi bajnok, 186 cm magas hátvéd a ciprusi Omonia Nicosia együttesétől érkezett Debrecenbe, és hatalmas erősítést jelenthet csapatunknak.
Érdemes felidézni Lang Ádám eddig karrierjét, hiszen kevés magyar futballista mondhat magáénak ilyen sikereket. A veszprémi születésű védő szülővárosának NB II-es csapatában, igen fiatalon mutatkozott be a felnőttek között, majd 2012-ben a Győrhöz igazolt, amelynek színeiben 2013-ban magyar bajnoki címet ünnepelhetett. Ezt követően a Videoton következett, amellyel ezüstérmet nyert a bajnokságban, majd 2016-ban az öt topliga egyikébe, a francia első osztályú Dijonhoz szerződött. A francia első osztályban 22 mérkőzésen lépett pályára, játszott a Nancyban is, ami után a romániai CFR Clujhoz, Kolozsvárra vezetett az útja. A CFR-rel a 2018/2019-es idényben román bajnok lett, majd a ciprusi Omonia Nicosia csapatához igazolt, amelynek mezében az elmúlt években több mint 100 tétmérkőzésen bizonyított. Az Omoniával bajnokságot (2021) és kupát (2022, 2023) is nyert, mostantól pedig a DVSC -t erősíti.
Nem lehet szó nélkül elmenni Lang Ádám válogatott pályafutása mellett sem. Talán sorsszerű, hogy élete első mérkőzését 2014-ben Debrecenben, a Nagyerdei Stadionban játszotta a felnőtt nemzeti csapatban, a dánok elleni 2-2 alkalmával kezdőként lépett a gyepre. Összességében már 70 alkalommal szerepelt a válogatottban (ennyi szereplést mondhat magáénak például Nyilasi Tibor és Kiprich József is), 2 gólt is szerzett, Dzsudzsák Balázs csapattársaként pedig minden találkozón játszva alapembere volt a 2016-os Európa-bajnokságon nyolcaddöntős magyar csapatnak. A pályán volt a tavaly nyári, 2024-es EB-n is, a Svájc elleni mérkőzésen játszott.
Összességében tehát egy rendkívül sikeres pályafutás újabb állomása Debrecen, Lang Ádám elképesztő nemzetközi tapasztalatával sokat segíthet a DVSC-nek. Üdv a Lokiban! 🤝🏻

DVSC signed for 2.5 years the 70-time capped Hungarian national team player, Ádám Lang, who is celebrating his 32nd birthday today. The 186 cm tall defender, who has had an impressive career and is a champion of Hungary, Romania and Cyprus, arrived in Debrecen from the Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia and could be a major asset for our team.
It’s worth reflecting on Ádám Lang’s career so far, as few Hungarian footballers can mention such achievements. He was born in Veszprém and made his debut in the second-division team of his hometown at a very young age. In 2012, he signed for Győr, in the colours of which he won the Hungarian championship in 2013. Afterward, he moved to Videoton, earning a silver medal in the league, and in 2016, he signed for Dijon in one of Europe’s top five leagues, the French Ligue 1. In France, he made 22 appearances in the first division, including a stint at Nancy, before moving to CFR Cluj in Romania. With CFR, he became champion in 2018/19, then signed for the Cypriot Omonia Nicosia, in the colours of which he made more than 100 appearances in recent years. He won the championship with Omonia in 2021 and the cup in 2022 and 2023. From now on, he will strengthen DVSC.
We should also mention Ádám Lang’s career as a Hungarian national team player. It might be fate that he made his debut in the senior national team at Nagyerdei Stadium in 2024. He started the game against Denmark, which ended in a 2-2 draw. In total, he has already made 70 appearances for Hungary (a number achieved by notable players such as Tibor Nyilasi and József Kiprich) and scored 2 goals. As Balázs Dzsudzsák’s teammate, he way a key player of the Hungarian team that reached the round of 16 at the 2016 European Championship, playing in every match. He was also on the pitch during the 2024 European Championship, playing against Switzerland.
