Yes — the 2003 Call of Duty multiplayer is still alive, and now it has a major new reason to come back.

Introducing COD1.6X, a community-made client created by wsx, bringing modern improvements to one of the greatest competitive FPS games ever made.

⚡ What does 1.6 bring?

🌐 Working server browser — the old Activision master server is gone, but COD1.6X brings the Internet server list back.

🎯 Competitive player-model & lean fixes — cleaner leaning, improved model synchronization, anti lean-spam protection and major hitbox improvements.

🖥️ Proper widescreen support — true Hor+ FOV for 16:9 / 21:9 displays instead of the old stretched 4:3 experience.

⚡ More stable FPS & less microstutter — precise FPS limiting and performance improvements for a smoother competitive experience.

🖱️ Raw mouse input — optional direct mouse input without Windows pointer acceleration or desktop cursor dependency.

🔒 Fair-play features — server-side version checking and the ability to enforce competitive settings across players.

🔄 Automatic updates — the client can keep itself up to date without complicated installations.

💬 Discord Rich Presence and additional community-focused features are also supported.
