The last quarter has been full of Dragon activity, much of it involving Classic and Vintage boats.

The quarterly review by Patrick Gifford looks at the results from the BDA Classic Championship in Cowes, the Vintage Championship in Aldeburgh, several home events and the successes of the Classic Dragons on the International circuit.

Another podium for GBR833 Louise Racing! A win in race 4 and 2nd place overall at the Medemblik Grand Prix and Dutch Dragon Championship. Well sailed Grant, Luke, Faye and Ruairidh.

Congratulations to POR90 and TUR12, making up the top spots.

GBR818 True Story finished 17th out of 41 Dragons.

Boats now get packed up and head home or off to Hong-Kong for the Dragon Worlds.

The GP #4 Medemblik 2026 overall winner POR 90 was not taking it as an easy job after winning the Europeans in Helsinki now again in a strong Dragon Class sailing competition here in Medemblik.

With the last day proofed it was challenging but POR 90 Easy was the absolute winner followed by Grant Gordon’s ‘Louise Racing team’ and TUR 12 Provezza with Andy Beadsworth.
