Round Long Island Race

Round Long Island Race Very atractive offshore sailing race in Croatian waters established in 2014.

Offshore sailing regatta from island Zlarin (Šibenik region) and all the way to the tallest lighthouse in the Adriatic- Veli rat, built in 1849 by Habsbourg monarchy. The challenging winds, open sea and lots of islands on the route of 130Nm navigation with a night start promises quite a challenge for sailors worldwide. On the end the hospitality of island Zlarin will be shown not just to the winners but to all who will come to join to take the "virginity" of this year regatta opening!

The 11th race will be remembered as the race of many retired boats from the start. Strong southerly winds and the storms at night, forced 10 boats not to even come to Zlarin before start. On the end the RC decided to start the race ion friday morning and it was quite a fast race one.
