S**g-a-Bal goes sLOVEnian with this year's !?! :O

Samo & Nina
Nina and Samo started to dance 6-count swing and Lindy hop in 2017, but soon disocvered Collegiate S**g, were blown away by how cool it was and have been passionately dancing it for almost 3 years under the guidance of Vid and Katja. Nina has also been dancing classical ballet since she was 5 years old and tries to bring some of ballet's elegance and style to her swing dancing. On the other hand, Samo practised judo competitively for 12 years and through it gained awareness of his and his partner's body positionings which he uses a lot in dancing. They love to go to as many workshops and festivals as possible and have travelled to London, Warsaw, Munich and Graz to dance and learn. They also like to choreograph and perform and are members of Studio Dansa's first Collegiate S**g team, S**g Shlag.

Vid & Katja

Katja has been dancing Lindy hop since 2010 and first met Collegiate S**g in 2015. She helped develop the Slovenian S**g scene and teaches this fun and energetic dance in various workshops and courses. She is also developing her dance skills at many international dance festivals. In teaching, she emphasizes on the good relationship between practicing technique and learning new figures, but her main purpose for dance is still fun! As an eternal music lover, she often plays music at various swing dance events.
Katja took 2nd place at S**g Jack'n'Jill's Tram named Lindy Festival 2016.

Vid is an avid Collegiate S**g dancer and teacher. He is the initiator of the s**g dance scene in Slovenia and has also helped develop the Croatian S**g scene. His dancing skills are being constantly strengthened and upgraded at various international dance festivals he is visiting. At a young age he danced Argentine tango and in 2012 he first met Lindy Hop, which he still dances regularly at dance events today. In teaching, he focuses on technique, contact with a partner, and building a compact dance foundation on which dancers can later develop individual style and movement.

Vid and Katja are regular Collegiate S**g teachers at Studio Dansa in Slovenia. They teach regular weekly courses as well as various weekend workshops at home and abroad.

The winter has embosomed Zagreb. It has gotten colder and the temperatures are dancing around zero. Here we go, we are so excited to heat atmosphere in the heart of Zagreb on a „Just a warmup party“!
Friday's location has the best view on the main square as you have already seen if you have been on previous instances of this festival. This is a club called; „Ritam grada“ situated in heart of the city.

Hi guys. There are lots of fun and some not so fun (logistical) stuff we want to convey to you. So in this regard we will keep you posted about the festival and all the things around it.
