Carbon Vertebrae Protector is a project to create a modern and efficient neck and back protector conceived as a combination of modern materials and innovative solutions. The protector consists of three parts. The first part is stiff segments anatomically designed to fit on the user’s back and offer protection and support against blows or accidents. The second part is the core of the protector, mad

e of modern polymer materials, connecting the stiff segments and giving greater comfort while at the same time offering greater protection. The third part is all additional materials and elements offering greater comfort (polyurethane foam), protection (kidney belt, shoulder straps) and hygiene (quick sweat separation, a sense of freshness, antibacterial treatment). Advantages of innovation:
1. Unified excellent protection of the entire spine (not just the back) and kidneys in one product
2. Usage of advanced polymers and other modern materials offers better protection and greater comfort
3. Better adherence to the back and spine offers more flexibility and constant back support
4. Modern design gives the product a popular and recognizable look

Applications of the innovation:
The Protector and its variants are used to protect the users spine and neck during motorcycle accidents, professional and recreational sport accidents (skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, riding), automobile accidents, safety at work and lumbar support for the elderly and the infirm. Today the CVP project has been selected to be among the 24 best in a call for tender named "Moja prilika" organized by the Bank of Zagreb, which provides finantial support to innovative projects! :D

Na natječaj Moja prilika, koji je završio 15. rujna, zaprimljena su ukupno 194 prijavljena projekta i ideja koje su, u jednakom omjeru, prijavile fizičke osobe i registrirane tvrtke i obrti. Većina projekata je iz područja informatike i proizvodnje, ali zastupljene su i sve ostale djelatnosti.
