i am since a month in Serbia to volunteer for a refugee NGO.. i have amazing experiences by working with the displaced people and also get some walls to paint on.. Freedom of Choice TSo - please give them a like :)

The famous austrian street artist Robin Abramović is helping us to improve our volunteer house and shop in a visual way. This reinterpretation of Botticelli´s Venus is placed in our garden :)

Der berühmte österreichische Streetart Künstler Robin Abramovic hat begonnen unser Haus sowie unsere Shop visuell umzugestalten. Diese Venus von Botticelli befindet sich in unseren Garten :)

the herobin project is over.. i spent 2 years on it and it was a great way to express myself and what i think about society and all the the social issues we should deal with. but i dont feel connected to it anymore and i dont wanna dedicate my artistic life in doing all day long this kind of artwork. the Bambsy project will get the new ideas i wanna do in that direction but like i said.. herobin is game over

i think we live in a society which is totally fu**ed up and i dont have the power anymore to dedicate my life in doing art that should improve it.. its a fight you cant win and i wanna enjoy my life and do artwork that i can enjoy more by myself instead of having an infected mind by the problems of this world.

its my life and i wanna paint murals and not doing protest art anymore in a scale i did it before. basically iam not giving up, i just set the priorities into a direction where i can have more fun and enjoy my own life instead of doing artwork i cant even sell and live by it.

i spent a lot of time in this project but i also know that people need stuff like what i do just to feel better.. its a bit like giving money to greenpeace. i see no change and everything i do is mostly getting seen by the people who already think like me so there is no reason for me to do that.

life is about being happy and doing protest art only brings you down so its not my main priority anymore. there are many other artists who are doing this and its nice to see that they care about our society but like i said, iam sick of it and i need a change just to be happy by myself!

Mary Magdalene painted by Robin Abramović aka HEROBIN, original by the genius Sassoferrato which i have painted 2 years ago on the Chross Church in Graz/Austria as a commissioned work. Sidefact: I was the first street artist ever who was allowed to paint on a church in Austria.. thats art history!
