Robert Matulja - CRO 33, the new (old) champion of Croatia, Zvonko JelaΔiΔ - CRO 35 won silver, while Marko MatiΔ - CRO 04 won bronze.
The fastest in the silver group was Matthias Patzer - GER 188, in the bronze Marin Bizjak - CRO 05, and in the emerald group Graham Lewis - GBR 24.
The fastest among women was Luningning Chen - CHN 912 (Asian champion), the best in the U16 competition was Zhang Zhenkun - CHN 03, among the U25 sailors the fastest was Tonko Puljiz - CRO 40, the best master Elio Cavallo - ITA 13, grand master Jari Heiskanen - SWE 09, great grand master Fabio Barindelli - ITA 54 and legend of all legends this year is Chuck Millican - BER 21.
The fastest in Offshoe/Navigation race was Jan Springer - POL 100 and the youngest competitor on this even was Hongyu Liu - CHN 72 with only 10 years!
The last day of the 20th Rogoznca's Cup was sailed at the usual location next to the Marina Frapa in a SE wind that was mostly for B rig.
The sea conditions, the great desire for better placements and fatigue after four days of sailing resulted in a large number of repeated starts, so the Race Committee often used the black flag to get a discipline at the starting line.
The sailing was very tough, nobody stepped back. There were many contacts and protests, some were penalized, some were not, and sometimes happened that the sailors themselves did penalty turns for the incidents they had committed.
A total of 7 races were sailed in the qualifications and 9 races in the final (only the emerald group sailed 8 final races), a total of 63 regattas! A truly excellent job done by the Race Committee, and you can find how the sailing was done on all four days on YouTube.
