The Final conference meeting of our project took place in Rijeka at the beggining of December....

Thanks to the great work from all the partners during the whole course of the project there was more time to enjoy and reflect on all the wonderfull experiences in the past two years 🙂

We are all very proud of the work accomplished, and are allready planning on new future cooperations 💪🥋🇭🇷🇬🇷🇪🇸🇹🇩

As we approach the end of the year, we're also entering the final stage of our Judo in Schools project! 🥋✨

The coaches from Judo Club Rijeka are working tirelessly to ensure the successful implementation of this groundbreaking pilot project. One of the key elements in this phase is gathering feedback from participants — a vital step in refining our methods and ensuring the best possible experience for future generations.

Education of coaches in Oradea 🙂🥋🇷🇴

From the 25th until the 28th of August our team met in Oradea, Romania for the second education of coaches.

The team exchanged experiences from the pilot project implementation in each of the countries and used them for improvement of the methodological work model.
The meeting was also be used for finalizing the content of the Judo in schools Manual.

We are slowly entering the final phase of the project and we are all proud of the work done so far 💪👏

🎉 Exciting News from the Judo Festival 2024! 🎉

On June 22nd, our team proudly presented the "Judo In Schools" project at the first Project Showcase and Networking Event, organized by the European Judo Union. This event, a highlight of the Judo Festival 2024, brought together experts and enthusiasts from around the world.

🏫 About "Judo In Schools":
Currently in its pilot implementation phase, our project aims to integrate judo into school curriculums, promoting physical fitness, discipline, and confidence among students.

🌟 Event Highlights:
The event featured 12 engaging topics, each presented by an expert in their field. It was an incredible opportunity to share our progress and insights with the judo community.

JIS' pilot project implementation started strong last week in Greece 🇬🇷, with presentations and first training sessions taking place in elementary schools in Nea Filadelfeia, Athens.
The enthusiasm shown by the parents and children was heartwarming and gives us high hopes for the months, and why not, years to come!
Sports should constitute a basic building block for all children throughout society starting in school, and what better sport than Judo! 🥋💪

We are continuing with the presentations...

First impression is very important, so we put a lot of effort in to attracting new children in our judo classes that will be held in local Elementary schools starting next month ☝️🧑‍🎓🥋
