After kilometres of white roads, climbs, dust and unforgettable views, riders returned to Novigrad for the final refreshment station - where the finish line atmosphere truly came alive. 💃🏻🕺🏻
Fresh pasta, local flavours, music, laughter and the energy of the EXPO zone turned the heart of Novigrad into the perfect place to celebrate the ride together. ❤️‍🔥

Known as the heart of the Istrian truffle region, this refreshment station offered one of the most iconic experiences of NOVA Eroica Istria - fresh pasta with truffles from Zigante Tartufi Shop & Gourmet Restaurant, served at the penultimate feed zone.
Simple, authentic and unforgettable. Just like Istria itself. 🤭😉

At Monterosso, riders were greeted by endless vineyard and olive orchard views and one of the most relaxing stops along the route. Alongside sweet local delicacies, participants had the chance to taste premium Istrian wines, EVOO, sweet&savory while taking in the scenery that makes this part of Istria so special.
A refreshment station that reminded everyone to slow down for a moment and simply enjoy where they are. 😋🥰

Even riders on other routes kept asking the same question:
“Can we somehow go to the Motovun stop too?” 😄

And honestly, we understand why.

With scrambled eggs topped with fresh Istrian truffles, local wine, local craft beer and an atmosphere only Motovun can create, this refreshment station became one of the highlights of the entire weekend.

Thank you Visit Motovun, truffle scrambled eggs before noon should become a cycling tradition. 🫶🏻

„La mula de Parenzo ga messo su botegaaa…” - you could hear Grožnjan before you even entered it! 🥳🎶

As riders approached the town, the sound of accordions, drums and old local songs like “La mula del Parenzo” echoed through the stone streets, instantly turning the climb into something that felt more like a celebration than a race. 😄

Between galleries, stone alleys and endless views, riders were welcomed with an unforgettable mix of Istrian delicacies - from local wine, olive oil and focacce, to traditional fritule and homemade flavours.

Some stops are remembered just as much for the feeling as for the food. 🥰

In Buje, riders found themselves surrounded by stone streets, historic buildings and one of the most authentic atmospheres along the route.
The refreshment stop blended perfectly into the town’s timeless character, offering participants a moment to slow down, taste local beer and delicacies, refill and soak in the beauty of inland Istria. 🫶🏻

Brtonigla welcomed riders with the kind of warmth only small Istrian places know how to give.

As the first refreshment station on the route, it was the perfect introduction to the spirit of NOVA Eroica Istria: authentic flavours, smiling faces and a table full of traditional sweets.
From homemade crostate to the beloved local “pandešpanja” and organic juices, this stop quickly became more than just a quick break on the ride! 😋

Visit Brtonigla Verteneglio, you were amazingly sweet! 🥰

The impressions from this year’s NOVA Eroica Istria are still coming in, and we’re especially happy to see the story of our white roads, landscapes and atmosphere featured on Rai Italia ❤️

It’s wonderful to see Istria and the spirit of Eroica reaching audiences far beyond the event itself - through the experiences, emotions and moments shared during this unforgettable weekend. 🫶🏻
