ABOUT THE REGATTA
Regatta "United Sailing Week" is the result of joint efforts of the congenial organizers of sailing regattas. We love yachting and rather often organize regattas in Russia and abroad. The “United Sailing Week” regatta is based on all our experience, knowledge and passion for yachting. The basic principles of the regatta are:

- well-prepared fleet for racing

- quality coast program of events
- reasonable cost
Our idea is quite simple – to gather riders and organizers of various races in one “United Sailing Week” regatta and to allow the sailors to enjoy fair racing and pleasant conversations in a warm atmosphere on the shore. THE MAIN ORGANIZERS

THE REGATTA PARTICIPANTS

FLEET AND CLASSES
The fleet of the regatta is divided into 3 classes and each class has its own divisions of one design yachts. Classification is necessary for a clear division of participants according to their proficiency levels. Of course, it’s totally up to you to choose any of them. However, you really need to consider the level of your competitors too. We will determine the winners in divisions as well as generally in classes. ORC CLASS
We invite the crews with their own or independently rented yachts for this division. A valid ORC certificate is a mandatory requirement though. At the same time, the ORC class will be divided into two divisions - Owner and Charter for a fair competition. In case you do not have your own crew, we will assign you a yacht in the class corresponding to your proficiency level along with your personal preferences. Also, if you are willing to obtain your first experience on a yacht, we will happily assign you to one of the training crews. This way you will enjoy your time and gain new skills! RACE
During the regatta races will be organized in the following formats:
- Olympic distance (upwind & downwind);
- Triangle (for marks);
- Offshore distance (around the Islands). All the races will be held in the water-area of šibenik. JUDGING
The Racing Committee of the regatta will consist of three members of the ISAF leading by Alan Kustic and two umpires, who will provide control of passing distance. The final result is calculated as the sum of points for all the races of the regatta, excluding the worst score. SCHEMES OF THE RACE DISTANCE
Distance racing circuits will be provided in the appendix to the sailing instruction, as well as on skipper briefings and on the page of the regatta on Facebook. RADIO COMMUNICATION
Except in an emergency, a boat that is racing shall not make voice or data transmissions and shall not receive voice or data communication that is not available to all boats. ADVERTISING
Boats shall display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizers. Each boat shall display the regatta flag supplied by organizers during the mooring. Team advertising is allowed on the hull of the boat during the regatta. The size of the advertizing sticker shall not exceed 120×40 cm. The sticker shall be placed in the range of 2m from the aft of the boat. This advertizing shall be removed from the hull after the regatta completion. PRIZES
Prizes will be given as follows: cups and medals for 1, 2 and 3 places in each division. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The crew members must have sports health insurance. Organizing Committee of the regatta can assist in obtaining visas by providing an official invitation, arrange a transfer from the airport to the venue of the regatta and back and booking of apartments/hotels. The best flight options to Split airport. Convenient dates of flights are May 5th and 12th, 2018. Distance from the airport to the stay of yachts is from 15 to 45 minutes by car.
