SLAYING THE BEAST!
Ivo Jarić did the impossible. He rode his bike uphill and then downhill Vosac peak on Biokovo. This hiking trail is one of steepest and hardest to climb in Croatia, and man did it with bike! Congradulations

This road route is perfect for those who love driving bike on roads. Tha start from Makarska by main road goes to Dubci, where we climb up and then turn into non trafic road, surrounded by nature, old Dalmatian houses and river Cetina. On the road that follows, you will se homemade vineyards, houses that are organizing rafting on river. Going down we end at Radmanove mlinice, a perfect place to rest, in the middle of nature near the river, where this restaurant is situated. Here you can drink coffe, have an ice cream or have a brunch. The river is cold but it is the right thing for regeneration and refreshing legs. After pause here, the road leads down to Omiš, where the river ends in the sea. Here you can deive through old streets of Omiš, have some sun on the beach and rest a bit. From Omiš the jurney leads on main road mostly uphill to Makarska. Dificulty is medium

This route is very popular, because driving through nature park Biokovo is something special, the view is breathtaking, and getting to the top of the mountian is a challenge. The start is in Makarska (0.8 meters above sea level), and the goal at the highest peak of Biokovo Sveti Jure (1762 meters above sea level) in the Biokovo Nature Park. Make sure to have plenty of water and some food with you, because this climb takes lot of energy. Getting to the top of the mountian with bike? Who would’nt want it. And here you can do it. All the way by road. Getting down is something special for adrenalin and speed lovers. Difficulty is hard.

Get to know entire Makarska Riviera on bike!

This video is showing the bike route from Makarska to Dubci Brela, west end of Riviera. The trial starts in Makarska main beach and continues to Krvavica, Bratus, Promajna, Baska Voda, Brela, Dubci. Bike path is mixed with gravel and concrete but nothing on the main road, it goes all the way on coastline, through small places and beaches.

If you are in Makarska with a bike, and want some adrenalin on short trial, beautiful views and hidden beaches, this video is for you. At the west end of Makarska, at beach Cvitacka is a bike rest house, where you can have a picknik,rest and repair your bike. Here this video starts, riding through the small wood trial, with hidden beaches, continuing on rocky path on which you should be carefull not to make mistake and fall down! Along the way there are small separated pebble beaches hidden between big rocks where you can find privacy. The track finishes in Krvavica beach, the first place next to Makarska, with a beautiful big beach.
