After the harvest, in spite of hot, heavy air and maximum humidity, the mating of roebucks starts. The long days, late nights, early wakening in the morning, are exhausting for the hunters.
You can notice mature roe bucks with mature roe deer and the chasing of the deer is to be expected. The chasing usually starts after the first cold day or rain. The full activity of the wild game means moving the whole day despite the bad weather. You need to have a good and persistent professional guide, water, refreshments, good shape and patience. It is not rare to find the roe buck beside the roe doe after the heavy fights between the bucks from different territories. You can hunt from the high seat and by stalking. The special experience is the calling of the roe buck at the end of mating, that is usually till the half of August.
