During Your stay at our homestead the horseback riding will be the main occupancy throughout Your holiday, because we offer at least minimum 6-7 riding hours per day in the saddle on one of our seven purebred and warmblood Lipizzan horses. On each day You are going to be followed by our highly experienced rider and horse breeder Josip Kiš. His main task is to reveal to You the beauty and tranquility of our Baranja region – Danube’s river floodplains, meadows and forests full of wildlife. Red deers and wild boars will meet You on the riding trails – for sure! Some of our riding trails goes along the Topoljski Dunavac lake –a place abundant with birds and along some other routes You can get acquainted with the rich cultural and historical heritage of the local people. We are especially proud on our vineyards on Baranja’s hills and more centuries old wine making tradition. Therefore, we have prepared two main raiding trails throughout the vineyards and along the wine cellars with higher difficulty – tasting of fine local wines is included! Those routes will show You all the beauty of this part of Croatia accompanied with panoramic views from the tops of the hill. In case that You decide to explore our countryside on the horseback by yourself – no problem! For all our main riding trails we develop GPX databases and in that case a smatphone will be enough to enjoy the trails without any guidance – chose is Yours! All our routes are suitable for walk, trot and canter, although the ride will be adopted to suit your preferences and riding experience. Long gallops is more or less a necessity! For all trails is common the fact that they are mostly far away from people and traffic and they are really a escape from the guest’s everyday life! If You get tired after several days in the saddle, as an option to spend the day again with horses is to jump into horse carriage! Namely, at Your disposal are three different types of horse carriages together with horse bobsled for the snow winter time! We will gladly make a round trip carriage tour for Your enjoyment! Enjoy familiar atmosphere and Croatian hospitality staying at our Country house “Baranjski tulipan”! The house was sympathetically reconstructed few years ago and it replicate the traditional Baranja’s village house style. For Your comfort, we offer two spacious double bedrooms with bathrooms. Both bedrooms are equipped with two queen and king size beds comfortable enough for longer stay of the maximum of six guests. Moreover, the guest rooms are equipped with LCD TV, mini bar and free Wi-Fi. You are welcome to enjoy on our peaceful garden terrace after the long hours in the saddle, or may relax in our Finish sauna and whirlpool bath (wood-fired hot tub) throughout whole year. Parking lots for three cars are available just in front of your apartments. We speak English and German languages. The restaurant and dining area is located in the house attic, where we prepare delicious and authentic Croatian meals for our guests mainly from the ingredients produced by the local farmers. You won't be hungry here! Best selected local Baranja wines, delicious Croatian beer and juices are all included with the meals. The farm produces its own bacon, sausages, jams and rakia (home made plum brandy). At any time, our guests may drop by for tea, espresso coffee, soft drinks, fruits and snacks! Activities
Our small country house is located near three national parks in three different countries in range of 20-30 kilometers, where visitors may have an exceptional experience of the richest wildlife areas along the Danube River in Europe. Only one kilometer from our homestead, there is a beautiful sandy beach on natural Topoljski Dunavac lake with glass clear water. Special packages for hunting on European red deer or wild boars are also available throughout the autumn and winter season. Visits may be arranged to the numerous cities such as Osijek, Pecs, Sombor or wine famous Villany village in Hungary. We will be more than happy to make suggestions and help you to book certain activities. Pricing
The holiday packages for singles or for the group up to 6 guests include accommodation in twin/double room, all meals with drinks from dinner on arrival day to lunch on departure day and from 6 to 7 hours per day riding. Price per person per night for 3 days/2 nights stay is 260 €, for 5 days/4 nights price is 490 €, and for the 7 days/6 nights holiday package the price is 690 €. For a non-rider the prices are 30 % off the standard price. Prices do not include flights and travel insurance. The airport transfers will be arranged from either Budapest airport for additional charge of 50 € per person (240 km, 2,5 hours car drive), or Zagreb airport (310 km, 3 hours car drive) for 60 € per person for both directions. In case that You choose to land to Osijek airport (63 km, 1 hour drive), there will be no additional charge for the airport transfers.
