Valentina now knows how to ask for milk via baby sign language.🥹 I usually take her into the car or a nearby bathroom quickly or put a thin blanket over her head so we can nurse in peace but we were in ikea and had no idea when we would see the next bathroom😂

So I went into the most comfy armchair and made sure no one was walking by and snuck her in.😅

I waved to my husband to snap a picture because she has the most beautiful smile right when her thirst has been quenched 😍

Growing up I only witnessed babies drinking from bottles, breastfeeding was very foreign to me and then something very private. I think it’s great the online community we have with crunchy moms that breastfeed everywhere but I think it’s even more important for us to affirm THIS IS PERFECTLY NATURAL🤱🏻 it’s the way God created us to nourish our young and I’m feel so honored that we’ve been going this long! Coming up to a year next month I’m just so thankful🥹🙏❤️🕊

The things mamas do to get their babies to sleep! Hopping, bouncing, swaying you name it and there’s a mama out there that has done it. Why not get a good leg pump while we’re at it?

If you can’t get to a gym that shouldn’t stop you from burning some calories while helping baby get and stay asleep.

Be sure to squeeze those glutes and braces those abs while keeping baby as centered as possible and switch arms occasionally.

The most important thing about postpartum fitness is feeling good because when mommy feels good so does baby! Be kind to your new self mommy, you did a wonderful thing bringing life into this world, it took 9 months to grow this way and slower weight loss means giving your skin time to make adjustments as well. Lotion and oil up often and keep hydrated with filtered water and chamomile tea is great if you are breast feeding!

Being a wife and mother is one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I feel like I’ve been rushing through life until now. Now I’m just soaking up the days with my husband and child and just can’t help but wish we’d started sooner!

As we light the final advent candle of love let us think deeply about the people in our lives we love. And finally the author of love our lord Jesus Christ coming into the world as the most humble and vulnerable king of kings and lord of lords. May this Christmas season end with a true beginning of active faith and prayer lives that make everyday feel like Christmas! ✨🕊🌟🎄🙏🎁✨

This Christmas we’re filled with so much joy as our baby girl goes from newborn to infant. 3 months of cuddles and so much new things for all of us to learn. I can’t help but share this joy with you all insta fam!
