20/08 Dahab Oil Spill update:
We've been training in Light House Bay for the past 2 days and found no more traces of oil in the water.
We've decided to fully resume our freediving activities from tomorrow.

However, crude oil still present along the shores of Dahab, so more cleaning is definetly needed to remove any unwanted threat from our beaches.

If you would like to help physically the cleanup today 18/08 will start at 1pm from Dahab Freedivers classroom, close to German Bakery in Lighthouse.
Please don't underestimate the contact with crude oil: come wearing shoes, long pants and possibly long sleeved garments

A huge oil spill occurred at the Gulf of Aqaba in Jordan and it’s spreading throughout the Red Sea. It reached Dahab and has already done much damage to the marine life and to some thoughtful folks that are participating in the beach cleanups. With your help, we can support and fund the people

Today he smashed his 50mt target depth, both in FIM and CWT!! 💪✌️

And 3 dolphins were swimming and playing with us on our line 🤩 🐬 🐬 🐬
