After a month of focused training alongside our team, Elias, Ben, and our very own Captain Whitney have officially reached the PRO level.

Throughout the programme, they’ve each shown real dedication, curiosity, and a genuine passion for the ocean. They've developed not just their diving skills, but the awareness and professionalism that define a great Divemaster.

Since the early 2000s, the Caribbean Sea has been hit with more than one environmental challenge. One is the introduction of the Lionfish species. Having no predators, alongside a very healthy appetite, the Sea needs our help to restore balance.

Marine life Monday! Featuring the cushion sea star ⭐

This particular sea star has 6 arms, when typically they have 5. This can happen as a result of a genetic mutation or regeneration after injury.

🍽What do they eat?
With their stomachs extending out of their body, they can dissolve their meals like shellfish.

📍Where can they be found?
They love shallow waters in the Caribbean, sandy bottoms and seagrass beds.

✨Fun facts
✔They have no blood! They use seawater to move nutrients around their body.
✔They move using their hundreds of tiny tube feet.
✔They can regenerate!🧬
