EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open

Due to continuing concerns over the emergence of Covid-19, organisers of the sixth edition of the EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open, which had originally been postponed to 8-10 May, today announced a further postponement of the championship.

The decision to extend the postponement has been made by the Hong Kong Golf Club in consultation with tournament stakeholders and in the interests of the safety of players, fans and officials.

All parties, including the sanctioning tours, remain committed to the hosting of the tournament in 2020 and are working together to find an alternative date for the championship, which will be announced in due course.

因應新型冠狀病毒(Covid-19) 疫情的持續影響，「 盈豐香港女子高爾夫球公開賽」主辦機構今日宣佈原定延至5月8日至10日舉行之第六屆賽事將進一步延期舉行。

香港哥爾夫球會與各持份者經商討後，以及考慮各球員、高球愛好者和工作人員的安全和健康後，決定再進一步延期舉行賽事。

主辦機構所有單位，包括各認證巡迴賽依然致力希望可於2020年舉辦賽事，並正在共同尋求一個新的日期補辦，待確定後將會公布。

In light of the current situation relating to the coronavirus outbreak in the region, organisers of the EFG Hong Kong Ladies Open have announced the postponement of the 2020 event.
The sixth edition of the championship, which was to be played from 28 February to 1 March 2020, is now scheduled to take place from 8 to 10 May 2020.
The decision to postpone the tournament has been made by Hong Kong Golf Club in consultation with the event’s stakeholders.
The organisers would like to extend their thanks to all parties involved, as well as the broader Hong Kong golf community, for their understanding and look forward to welcoming players, fans and officials to the Club for the tournament.

鑑於目前有關新型冠狀病毒疫情於社區爆發，「 盈豐香港女子高爾夫球公開賽」主辦機構宣佈2020年的賽事將會延期舉行。
原定於2020年2月28日至3月1 日舉行之第六屆賽事將延至2020年5月8日至10日。
香港哥爾夫球會與各持份者經商討後，無奈作出有關賽事延期舉行之決定。
主辦機構感謝各有關單位，及廣大香港高球界人士的理解。我們期待於5月份迎接各球員、高球愛好者、及工作人員蒞臨粉嶺。

The tournament, which will once again be played over the Old Course, takes place from 28 February to 1 March 2020. Entry is free – and we really look forward to seeing you there.
