Representing CUHK for years, Chau Ka Him has consistently demonstrated commitment, discipline, and responsibility as a student‑athlete.

While this recognition came from last year’s awards, his impact has been felt even more strongly this year. He clearly stepped into a leadership role — leading the team with the right attitude, strong teamwork, and a shared vision of becoming the best version of themselves.

Everything begins with belief — the belief that Team CUHK could rise to become overall champion, once, twice, three times, and beyond. Not only in pursuit of the best results that we could achieve, but also in the pursuit of becoming the best version of ourselves.

Becoming Overall Champion was never the work of a few — it required everyone to step forward and give their very best. With the strong and unwavering support of PEU and the coordinator Dr. Sally Sun , each coach contributed their expertise with dedication, and every participating athletes embraced their role with commitment and effort.

It is this shared belief, trust, and collective spirit that brought us here, and we hope it will continue to carry us forward.

A meaningful milestone for the CUHK Karate Team 🥋 — our 1️⃣st official overseas exchange training with the 🇲🇴 Macau team was great. It was an inspiring experience to train with strong team, and we are grateful for the warm hospitality and excellent facilities provided. Thank you everyone for making this exchange possible. Your participation and commitment are what turn ideas into reality.

🥋 CUHK Karate Team Tryouts 2025–26

A meaningful start to the season💪🏻From physical conditioning to technique practice, this year’s tryouts cultivated a strong sense of unity—guided by our supportive team captains and seniors.✊🏻

It was encouraging to see new faces step onto the tatami with courage, while experienced athletes led by example. Moments like these remind us that progress is built through shared effort, mutual respect, and collective growth.

We’re not just preparing for USFHK competition—we’re continuing a journey together. Let’s train with purpose, support one another, and make this season memorable to remember.
