感謝DMC的邀請與支持！很榮幸能跟大家分享我的海龜公民科學計劃，希望能帶動更多「龜鮮人」一起投入海洋保育！歡迎所有潛水團體和海洋愛好者聯繫我，分享這個主題！
結合海龜研究員、保育者與海洋教育者的身份，我創辦「龜鮮人」（Sea Turtle in Hong Kong and Mainland China）這公民科學群組，旨在填補瀕危海龜棲息地的數據缺失。本項目透過大眾提交的日期、地點及多角度 Photo-ID 照片（如頭部鱗片），建立個體辨識數據庫，以賦予社區海洋科學知識並推動大眾參與。項目成果更能豐富全球海龜記錄的基線數據。海龜作為海洋健康指標物種，這些數據亦協助制定保育措施，守護海龜與牠們賴以為生的海洋。

Integrating my roles as a sea turtle researcher, conservationist, and marine educator, I founded “ Sea Turtle in Hong Kong and Mainland China「龜鮮人」”, a citizen science initiative aimed at bridging critical data gaps regarding endangered sea turtle habitats. By collecting sighting dates, locations, and Photo-ID images (such as facial scutes) from the public, this project builds an individual identification database to empower the community with marine science knowledge and foster public engagement. The project crucially enriches baseline data for global sea turtle records; as key indicator species for ocean health, these findings directly inform conservation measures to safeguard sea turtles and the marine ecosystems they depend on.
