When was the last time you set time aside to just — do nothing?
I mean *actually* doing nothing, just being. Because even when we make time to do things that we enjoy, we’re preoccupied. I used to feel that time was only well spent when I’m doing a million things at once, that I could never “do” meditation because it’s too boring, yet over the last few months I crave my one hour a week (or month) when I can climb into the sensory deprivation tank and shut off the world (and all its notifications) for a little while.
