Thank you Emmy Cleaves! 1928-2022

The 84 Asana sequence that we practice became a modern yoga tradition because of you.

Although our 84 Asanas came from the Ghosh's Yoga in Calcutta, brought to America by Bikram, it surely would have dissappeared into obscurity without your lifelong love and commitment to it, and to all of us who loved it with you and because of you.

Emmy spent 2 days with us at the e84 Completion Course in Los Angeles in 2018. She said she was no longer teaching public classes at that point but she made an exception for us. She was always so generous and devoted to her students.

What an amazing week with an equally amazing group of yogis! So thankful for the entire process and everyone’s piece to the puzzle. Thank you to our gracious host Alison and her family for the wonderful venue and accommodations and everything that goes into hosting events! Thank you to Nzingha for the wonderful meals that kept us energized all week! What a treat!! To the Jedis who overcame all the obstacles such as travel and of course the physical and mental willingness to change your mind! A special thanks to our leaders and team for all the help ! Especially for the help at the event and .teresa.nash for the help from afar, behind the scenes! Congrats to all these Jedis ! Miss you all and love you! .maples3
