Bullseye! Our first Superpass Dinner hosted on 24.04.2026 was a great success. Great food, great games, and even greater company with our undergraduate students and Mr. Lam Siu Tong coming together for this event.
We laughed, we competed, and we sent each other off with full hearts (and full stomachs) before exams.

Good luck everyone! May your arrows fly straight and GPAs soar!

We are the 41st session of Archery Club, HKU!
我哋係香港大學射箭會第41莊！

我哋嘅目的係將射箭嘅樂趣傳揚俾大家，增加呢個傳統運動嘅受歡迎程度同參與。我哋亦希望增強新舊會員嘅聯繫，唔單止俾大家可以互相學習，亦可以同唔同生活範疇嘅人建立新連繫。

We aim to spread the fun of archery to all, increasing this traditional sport's popularity and presence. We also hope to strengthen the bonds between new and existing members of our Club, not just so they can learn from each other, but so they can create new bonds with people from all walks of life.

暑假就快嚟啦！你plan好去邊度玩未呀？定係要留喺香港做intern，日日返工做到呆咗？咁就不如趁空檔嚟試下射箭啦！

我哋嘅訓練課程有奧運級教練林兆棠先生親自指導，由基本步到放箭，逐個位同你執靚靚。依家開咗兩班，名額有限，手快有手慢冇呀！

報名仲有驚喜㗎——如果經課程入會，可以額外送你一至兩個月會籍～識做啦😏。快啲mark實個位，等暑假過得又充實又好玩啦！🏹

A班日期: 6/6, 13/6, 20/6, 27/6

Summer break is starting to peak over the horizon! Have you made your travel plans yet? Or maybe you're stuck in Hong Kong doing internships? If that's the case, you'll be free to try your hand at archery at our training course! Our Olympic level coach, Mr. Lam Siu Tong, will be there to guide you at every turn. There are two classes available right now, but spots are limited. Grab a spot while you can! You'll even get 1-2 extra months of membership if you register as a member for these courses (hint hint nudge nudge).

—— Sem 1 Superpass! ——

經典史詩《奧德賽》，提及到奥德修斯嘅凱旋回歸。佢為一把極為重磅嘅弓上弦，將箭射穿12把斧頭上嘅小孔，一顯其君主氣派。

事後有學者討論，點解在場108個人都做唔出，只有奧德修斯成功？係咪單憑佢力量驚人？我認為係佢幾經歷練，戰後歸來所得到嘅一種平靜、神態淡定，令佢與眾不同。

大家艱苦讀書，辛苦走完呢三個月嘅學術路程，好快就要迎來考試。我哋要向奧德修斯學習，保持淡定，揸穩支筆，努力發揮，爭取好成績。

覺得放鬆唔到？嚟緊我哋會搞Superpass晚餐，大家入到嚟可以暫時放低你嘅憂慮，搵返自己應有嘅狀態，亦係幫自己打氣，祈求考試順利！

Hark! Do you know of Odysseus' triumph? When he returned home from his journey, he had strung his rigid bow, and his arrow weaved through dozens of holes to prove that he was the King Of Ithaca.

Scholars debate on Odysseus' feat in that scene. How did such a figure pull it off when others couldn't? Was it his brute strength? Nay. Out of the 108 suitors surely one could match his strength. Thus, I digress, that it was Odysseus' calmness, a sense of peace from the end of a journey, which others could have felt.

Now, after a grueling odyssey of academics, the time of exams illy descends upon us. Yet, steady yourself; calm yourself and weave your pen or laptop (or arrows, who knows what your exam format is) through the gaps of Ds Cs and Bs and have your results land in As.

Having trouble feeling calm you say? Well, come participate in Archery Club's Superpass event to rest your anxieties, even if for a brief moment, and steel yourself for the As you deserve.
