Outside, scenic hitting stations set in a natural retreat featuring Toptracer technology to track and display every ball flight in real time. A short walk away lies the Nicklaus-designed Short-Game Course, engineered for the precision work that settles a round.

Fan Guan brings the open-flame cooking of Hong Kong’s iconic Dai Pai D**gs indoors, setting a tradition that survives on only a handful of streets directly onto the Academy's tables.

Chef Sunny Cheng's Dai Pai D**g menu carries the same open-flame flavours this city has cooked for generations, gathered onto one table for the whole family. The spread features steamed South African abalone with tangerine peel, typhoon shelter mud crab, salt and pepper mantis prawns, and wok-fried lobster with e-fu noodle in supreme broth.

Wok hei isn't just a technique. It’s the magic of extreme heat and sizzling oil. It takes a seasoned hand to transform raw seafood into dishes beautifully charred, smoky and full of life. Honed over years at the local Dai Pai D**g, Chef Sunny Cheng now brings it to Fan Guan, where the morning’s fresh catch from the Sai Kung waters goes from sea to wok in just minutes, served in the Academy.

The Academy sits minutes from open water, where the day's catch is lifted along the Sai Kung shore before most of Hong Kong is awake. That freshness is carried all the way to the wok, where seasonal mantis prawns, squid, razor clams and mud crab are finished in hot oil with salt, pepper and garlic fried crisp for the fiery flavours this city grew up on.

HKGTA marked its 10th Anniversary with a series of golf events across the region, kicking off at Discovery Bay and continuing this October at KSC's South Course, with more still to come.

To mark the milestone, patrons and coaches competed across gross and nett formats, putting years of experience on full display. General Manager Andrew Yang and Director of Golf David Freeman were on hand to celebrate the day’s highlights and hand out honours.

Ten years of bringing players together, and plenty more reasons to keep aiming high.

Nothing compares to the pride of seeing our own players take what they’ve built here on our courts and range, and succeed on the bigger stage.

Charles Guan won the Northern Virginia Junior Open at Westfields, two rounds on 5th and 6th August, closing at +18 and top of the field, a remarkable international showing and a pristine return home.

Angie Cao finished runner-up at the KSC Junior Open with rounds of +6, -1 and level par. Each round tighter than the one before it, right through to the last hole of the last day.

Kimika Fukui made the final of the girls' singles at the ITF J30 in Macao and came away runner-up. A finalist at fifteen, on unfamiliar courts, against players who had every reason to fancy their chances.

Well played all three, at tournaments near and far.

Executive Chef Gareth Packham brings his five-course tasting menu back to The Tablecloth Dinner Series on 19th September, this month tracing the turn from summer into autumn across the evening.

This month's centrepiece is the Beef Wellington, wrapped in Parma ham and finished with a red wine sauce, served with a Banfi Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, one of Tuscany's most closely regulated reds.
