2026 Shidokan All Hong Kong Open Tournament

On September 20th, 2026 All HK Tournament was successfully held in Taipo, Hong Kong.

This year, event divisions were:

-Shidokan Karate Rule
-Full-contact Karate Rule
-Glove Karate/Kickboxing Rule
-Tameshiwari
-Kata
-Professional Kickboxing Special Exhibition

Shikon Hong Kong Vol.1

Interdojo friendly event in the following categories:

1) Shidokan Karate Rule:
- Full-contact Karate rule
- Clinch/grabbing allowed for 3 seconds
- Throw/sweep allowed from clinch/grab
- 5 seconds grappling on the ground, choke or submission
- Knees to the head prohibited

2) Full-contact Karate Rule:
- No head punch/clinch/grappling
- Knees to the head prohibited

3) Glove Karate/Kickboxing:
- K-1 Rules
- No clinch
- No knee strikes

4) Kata
- Kata from various styles allowed

This is a strictly friendly event, designed to give a safe environment for our karateka in Hong Kong to gain more experience.

This event is open to all styles and organizations.

Maximum protection should be worn.

Shidokan Hong Kong branch members are honored to take part in the Fun Run 3.1km run/walk for the inaugural Korea Peace Run in Hong Kong.

2026 Kyokushin-Kan All Hong Kong Karatedo Tournament

I was honored to take part in Kyokushin-kan Hong Kong branch’s annual All Hong Kong tournament on January 25th, 2026. This year, I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday by fighting in the 45 years and above Senior Division of the event.

We went through all available 2 extension rounds and I lost by decision. My opponent from Seidojuku, Mr. PK Tse, was a tank and quite unstoppable with his body punches. Kudos to him for the win💪🏼

As I told my son and others after my loss, the important thing is to learn from it.

Huge thank you to Wan Shibucho and all judges and staff for their effort and hard work. Judging was very good and professional, showing the audience how much Hong Kong full-contact community has gained experience by working together. I hope more groups in Hong Kong and in mainland China can join our events.
