Children that attend our weekly programs are exposed to football, tennis, basketball & rugby on a fortnightly basis.

Minisport’s purpose is to boost children's passion for sport and enhance their overall well-being through dynamic, engaging environments that create positive life-long memories. We aim to foster a team of honest, consistent & dedicated sports coaching professionals who are motivated by a deep-rooted pride towards the Minisport brand, it’s philosophy & vision. The guardians of students within our community are given access to a range of talks, courses & benefits aimed at enriching their parenting knowledge and abilities. We maximise active time during classes to keep children engaged & developing at the fastest possible pace. Minisport has now spread across Hong Kong, with over 20 passionate coaches teaching over 800 kids per week at 60+ venues. We provide private classes upon request, as well as throwing epic birthday parties that create lasting memories. 😦 School ends Friday. Sports start Monday. ⚽

Looking to fill the gap left by no school? Our summer camps run from 29 June to 7 August across Hong Kong.

Alongside our standard week long programs, we’ve added afternoon drop-in sessions for ages 1.5 to 6 across town— a flexible way to get them moving through our 6 different sports (3 per camp week) 🏑🏀🎾🏉⚽️🏏

Massive congrats to Coach Daniel 👏⚽️ on an unforgettable weekend at the Hong Kong Football Club Soccer Sevens 🇭🇰🏟️

Daniel lined up for the Yau Yee League Select 💪 and got to play against his boyhood club, Glasgow Rangers 🔵🔴 — a genuine dream-come-true moment for a lifelong Rangers fan from Glasgow 🏴✨

Even better: the Rangers lads were apparently expecting to see “a local Hong Konger” in their words, leading the Select out as captain… 🇭🇰👀 and instead it was a Rangers supporter from Glasgow doing the honours 🙌😄

Football has a funny way of writing the best stories 📖⚽️

And while the last couple of years ended as Plate runners-up 🥈, this year the run stopped at the Plate quarter-final 🏁 — still a huge achievement at a tournament like this 💯🔥 and a moment he’ll never forget 🫶

This is exactly what we love about Daniel: his passion for sport doesn’t stop when the class ends 🧡 — he lives it, competes in it, and brings that energy back into the football community here in Hong Kong 🌆⚽️ (and straight into every Minisport session) 👶🏽🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Skills Follow Smiles 😄⚽️

That’s the whole idea behind Minisport. We’re built to capture the imagination of children aged 1.5 to 6yrs 👶➡️🧒 — because that’s the only stage we focus on, and the only stage we obsess over.

At this age, sport should feel like play: engaging, varied, and confidence-building without pressure. 🌈🏀

Behind the scenes, we consistently train our coaches to share what’s working, optimise games, and keep raising the bar on the learning experience — so every session is as fun as it is developmentally spot-on. 🧠✨👟

Meet Coach Jake — our Performance & Curriculum Co-ordinator. 💚

Many of you will already know Jake from the sessions. He has been part of the Minisport team since August 2024, and in that time he has become one of the most respected and recognisable coaches in our programme.

We recruited Jake from the UK for his extensive experience designing and delivering PE and coaching programmes for young children — and that expertise is now being put to work across the whole team. As Performance & Curriculum Co-ordinator, Jake shapes the Minisport curriculum to ensure every session is structured, purposeful, and developmentally right. He also leads a sub-team of our coaches, holding the standard of delivery to the level our families expect.

For Jake, the measure of a great session is not what a child can do — it is what they believe they can do.

“My job isn’t just to teach skills in sport. It’s to create an environment that’s fun and engaging — one that makes the child feel safe enough to try, to fail, and to try again.”

That philosophy shows up in the small moments.

A child jumping over Mr. Snake for the first time. The look on their face. The look on their parents’ faces.

Surprise. Pride. Pure joy. The quiet realisation: I did it.

Those moments are what we build our programme around — and Jake understands that better than most.

We are delighted to have him in this role & to witness the impact that he’s having on the Minisport community 🌟
