The Hong Kong Dodgeball Association is a non-profit organization formed to promote and develop the sport of dodgeball in Hong Kong. Right now we have over 800 active members devoted to play the team sport once a week, honing the needed reflexes, agility and stamina to excel. We are in discussion with other dodgeball associations in different countries around Asia such as USA, Canada, New Zealand,
UK, France, Holland, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Taiwan and Pakistan in hopes to get widespread recognition of this sport thru inter-country matches and video coverage of this exciting and fun game. And it is our collective goal to make dodgeball into an Olympic sport in the future. Hong Kong is one of the founding members of the Asian Dodgeball Federation (ADF) and also World Dodgeball Federation (WDBF). Since three years of international competitions, both the Hong Kong Dodgeball male and female team are the Asian Champions, with an undefeated record of 15-0 for men’s and 7-1 for women. As of March 2012, Hong Kong is now the Dodgeball World Champions after our male team beat USA, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia. The proceeds from Hong Kong Dodgeball Association have been spent on the further development of this sport by trying to introduce it to schools around Hong Kong, and also to the community. HKDA also focuses our attention to charities and community outreach, donating and also fund raising for different charity organizations such as Foodlink and Harmony House. HONG KONG DODGEBALL LEAGUE
