butor, to improve people’s lifestyles. It helps bring these products into the Asian market and fuel their branding for them to catch fire and become household names. A sports enthusiast himself, Mr Pye holds the idea of staying active and enjoying the fun during the process dear to his heart. Sharing and enhancing the experience with quality products has become his passion and business. Mr Pye has set up an extraordinary, talented management team entrusted in the everyday operations and sustainable growth of PPD as a business enterprise. He is humbled by the respect and trust his staff and business partners have placed upon him. A businessman, professional and a family man. As a community friend, Mr Pye cares deeply about the environment. In October 2014, he swam a total distance of 80 km around Lantau Island in 5 days (16 km per day ) to raise over HKD 120,000 for Plastic Free Seas, a Hong Kong based environmental charity. The first time this had ever been done. An experienced athlete, Mr Pye has competed in various sporting events including completing 10 Ironman triathlon races. In April 2014, he completed the Marathon Des Sables where he placed 58th overall [out of just under 1,000 participants] in a 6-day event covering over 250 km in the Sahara desert in Morocco with temperatures reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius during the day.
