It’s never too late to award your best performers. As a club, we believe that will boost the morale and confidence of our players in the future as they compete for the best team.

This time it's for the CEYLON FALCONS in THE ANITA MILES INDOOR SHIELD SEASON 2, which was held in July and August 2025. Great season and great performance from each and every single player who played for one team. So it’s never too late to show them what they deserve.

A simple and easy award ceremony was held on 2nd of November 2025 and we as a club believe that these players deserve to be rewarded.

Appreciation medals and awards were given to the players as below.

The Anita Miles Indoor Shield season 2

The 4th match for CEYLON FALCONS was against CCC FungWong, held on 30th July 2025 at CCC indoor nets.
This was a tough game for CEYLON FALCONS.

Winning the toss the CCC FungWong decided to bat 1st and made a scorecard of 70/4 in 12 overs. Gloria Lo and Megan Leung scored 30/2 in 1-4 overs. Mavis Choi and Ella Cheung scored 48/3 in 5-8 overs and the last pair Almira Leung and Iris Lau scored 71/3 in the end of 12th over.

FALCONS were ready to face the challenge opening up with Sheron de Guzman and Joire Saguid managing to score 14/2 in 1–4 overs. Dilini Iresha and Julie Ann scored 15/7 by the end of the 8th over as the last pair, Donna Jaro and Jenifer Badillo , ended at 9/12 in the 12th over.

This was not an easy task, but the FALCONS tried their best, and we only managed to get 2 wickets from the opponents. The wicket was taken by Jenifer Badillo 2-0-9-2
We are learning from each mistake and growing up stronger, and we hope the CEYLON FALCONS can do better in the next game on 31st July 2025 at CCC indoor nets against HKCC Emeralds.
