Key highlights of the 2027 38 GripX2

• GRIP X2 Damper: Featuring a massive increase in base valve diameter (from 20mm to 24mm) and 23 total valves, this damper offers superior mid-stroke support and precise 4-way adjustability while virtually eliminating damping "cross-talk."

• Glidecore Air Spring: A complete redesign that replaces the traditional tube-in-tube system with a floating piston rod. This reduces internal friction (stiction) and includes an MCU bottom-out bumper for a smoother feel at the end of the travel.

• Optimized Chassis & Bushings: The new lower leg casting features increased bushing overlap (up by 20mm) and a "Generative Design" arch. This improves fore-aft stiffness by 8.8% for stability while reducing torsional stiffness by 6.8% to lower rider fatigue.

• Direct 200mm Post Mount: To match the demands of modern Enduro and heavy E-MTBs, the fork now features a native 200mm brake mount, allowing for larger rotors without the need for additional adapters.
