Rhythm FC win 9-8 on penalties

Rhythm beat Panda's Hostel on penalties to win the SS League Silver Shield at Happy Valley Recreation Ground, their first major title since 2004.

Rhythm were 1-0 down within the first 5 mins, but our international player Brad hit one back. Pighead put Rhythm ahead after the break after a nice cross from King, but an miscommunication between the backlines and the keeper opened the door for Panda's late leveller.

In the shootout, both sides were all on target in the first five rounds. Panda missed the ninth round, allowing Joey to convert the winning penalty.
